MEN’S YOUROLOGY
How common are BDSM fantasies, really? The numbers might surprise you.
This study is a survey of over 1,000 adults aged 16 to 80 that explored the real prevalence of BDSM-related interests and activities in everyday people, not just those active in kink communities. The findings were eye-opening: over two-thirds (69%) of participants reported at least one BDSM-related fantasy, and nearly half (47%) had engaged in some form of BDSM activity.
Interestingly, dominant and submissive roles were almost equally common, and enjoyment wasn’t limited to any gender. Even more intriguing, people who practiced BDSM reported higher levels of openness and sexual curiosity compared to those who never tried it. This study just challenges long-held taboos, showing that BDSM is far from rare or pathological, it’s part of the normal spectrum of human sexuality.
WOMEN’S YOUROLOGY
Can cranberry juice really prevent urinary tract infections, or is it just a myth?
This meta-analysis reviewed 50 randomized controlled trials involving over 8,000 participants to test whether cranberry products actually reduce the risk of UTIs. The findings are compelling: cranberry juice, capsules, and tablets were all associated with a 30% lower risk of UTI recurrence compared to placebo or no treatment.
Interestingly, the benefits were strongest in women with recurrent UTIs, children, and people at higher risk for infection. However, not all cranberry products are created equal, dosage, form, and consistency of use all matter. For instance, the studies using standardized cranberry tablets showed the most reliable protection, while juice alone offered only modest benefits due to lower active compound levels.
This review is significant because it confirms that cranberry isn’t just folklore, it has measurable, science-backed benefits when used correctly. Still, the researchers emphasize that cranberry shouldn’t replace antibiotics for active infections but can be a safe, preventive strategy for those prone to recurrent UTIs.
This week, someone asked me, “I use Trimix and it work amazingly. It has turned me back to my.20 yo self but with more knowledge. How can I explain to my wife that I need the affection and reassurance just as much as she does. Our sex life is good as long as I initiate it. I want to have her start and let me know I’m wanted too. I know she loves and loves the sex but it’s always me who has to start the foreplay.”. It's important to express to your wife, in a loving, open way, that while you deeply value your intimacy, it means so much to feel wanted and pursued by her, too. Try sharing how much you enjoy it when she initiates foreplay or affection, and gently ask if she’d feel comfortable starting things sometimes. Because open communication can strengthen your connection and help both of you feel equally desired and fulfilled.
I love hearing from you, so if there’s a question you’ve been wanting to ask, just let me know. Who knows? Your question might be the one I dive into next!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM MY CHANNEL
Today I tackled a fun (and pretty surprising) topic, just how much men exaggerate things like their height, muscles, and especially penis size. Turns out, the bigger the reward, the more honest people get! "Men report an average erect penis size of 18 centimeters. That's about 7 inches. But the actual reported average for Danish men, only 15 centimeters or 6 inches. That's about a 21% exaggeration."
Here are some quick takeaways:
Men tend to exaggerate their size, especially in areas tied to masculinity.
Feeling valued (even by being paid more!) makes people more honest.
Your worth isn’t measured in inches, what really matters is health, communication, and confidence.
If you ever feel insecure about your body, remember: “Sexual satisfaction, relationship quality and overall health have little to do with size and everything to do with communication technique and emotional connection.” Catch the full episode for all the details and science behind these findings!
HIGHLIGHTS FROM MY PODCAST
In my October AMA, I made a lot of tricky health topics super easy to understand! I talked about everything from painful sex to “blue balls” and even the safety of testosterone therapy. “Sex should never be painful. I think that's really important that sex should never be painful.”
Here’s what stood out:
Lubrication, enough arousal, and stress management can really help!
Guys, “blue balls” are real—but if pain sticks around, talk to a doctor.
Testosterone therapy is usually safe but always check with your doctor.
Always get checked if something feels off and don’t just “wait for it to go away.” Stay informed and take care of yourself! So listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or here and see why people are commenting, “This is a great amount of clarity about testosterone and prostate cancer. It's important that this kind of information is properly explained like thus”.
NEW MEDIA
New research shows the average penile length has increased by 24% over the past three decades, but before celebrating, there’s more to the story.
In my new Substack article, “Penile Length Is Increasing—What It Really Means for Men’s Health,” I break down what this rise actually says about our hormones, environment, and overall reproductive health, and why bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better.
